The application includes an airstrip, 2 hangars, 20 light aeroplanes, 10 glamping pods and helicopter access.

Doing some general research today about the Maypole Airfield I came across the following statement in a document relating to the proposed reopening of Manston Airport.
This was from a pilot who relocated to Maypole Airfield from Rochester.,
Does anyone know why Maypole has a restriction placed on the number of flights per day?
Yes, Maypole was restricted to 12 take off per day , between the hours of 8-00 am to 9-00pm or dusk, whichever is the earliest.
This daily restriction was put in place instead of a weekly quota to prevent takeoff numbers being compressed into one weekend.
There was also no training / practising & no commercial flying.
There was also a condition that only six aircraft could operate from Maypole.
This was to protect the amenities of local residents.
