Isn't it a sign of the applicants desperation to have this development seen as environmentally friendly with the mention of new and innovative ELECTRIC PLANES, when these aren't commercially available yet and none of the members of the proposed incoming owners have one 🤔

The electric plane talk is pure greenwash, they may be coming but they are many years away. One day electric may eventually dominate but to suggest this airfield is going to be used by them any time soon is absurd. There is just one electric Pipistrel registered in the UK and many thousands of combustion engine planes. Do you really think these other fuel burning planes are just going to vanish over night? Let's ensure this application is considered against the noise and pollution these will cause, not this distraction of electric planes which currently represent a ridiculously tiny minority of aircraft.
