Anything is possible Andy. But I think you are missing the main point. The land owner has submitted plans based on a ‘green‘ initiative. Electric planes are still in the very early stages of production. Yes, in years to come, they will probably be like the electric cars on the roads where they are more affordable. (Still never as affordable as a car that many can enjoy I might add!!!!) But the point you are missing is that is years off yet. The group on here, I’m sure, are not adverse to electric planes. They are all for ’green’ after all!!! But in the years it takes for the electric planes to be ‘common’, the residents, and those over the flight path will have to endure motorised planes coming and going up to 20 times a day. So like I said, if the landowner only accepts electric planes, I’m sure all would be fine! But that’s not going to happen as he would be running an airfield at a loss.
