You’ve heard of the Tooth Fairies, but have you ever heard of the Sign Sprites? Neither had we, but it seems they really do exist and enjoy nothing more than uprooting and making off with our Chocks Go Away signs. Bless them. Fortunately, there were a handful of signs that were covered by CCTV, and we look forward to reviewing the footage and discovering who the little rascals are. We'll let you know...

Unfortunately, the opportunity was lost because the applicants failed to respond to the invitations that were sent to them. According to one pilot review, PA28s flew from their old airfield. How will 7,500 movements a year sound in our field?

The proposal document (attached) verges on the surreal. Who knew that light aircraft had engines that were so quiet, that having 7,500 flights coming and going from an airstrip in the middle of a field, within touching distance of homes and communities either side of it, will go totally unnoticed. Please lobby your councillors and stop this madness.
