Busy day today lots of flights buzzing round already 😡
Hi All, Just to say on Thurs Mark and Paul contacted us. We've spoken, and we are waiting for an email with details of alterations chocksgoaway would like. Then happy to update the change.org petiton, according to what you, the environmentally aware on the ground, think needs altering. We have learnt while campaigning, however, that because we are a challenger party, not incumbant, there will always be some people who disagree with everything we do because 'how-very-dare-you-challenge-status-quo'.
Looks like a busy week, accidents happen This proposal is to close to residential properties
I've just looked at this with the intention of signing, but find the description is very misleading. The description states
"Despite the claim that it will only be low carbon electric planes using the new airfield; we do NOT believe fossil-fueled light aircraft will be turned away,"
This isn't what it states in the screening documents at all, it actually states
"3.19 The type of aircraft at Little Mongeham will predominantly be small
general aviation aircraft and modern microlights with one engine.
The noise levels are extremely low, particularly on landing. "
There is mention of possible electric planes in the future, but not solely.
If the petition is to carry any credibility, it needs to be truthful and not deliberately misleading.
Great news! Thank you, Sarah and GP!
