Just found out that microlights will be flying out of the new airfield.
Anyone, who has been flown over by a microlight, knows:
How much noise they make.
How long it takes them to fly overhead.
They seems to drift round and around overhead without any definitive destination.
One more reason to stop this application.
The microlight winged lawnmowers drive us nuts in Eythorne as they take off from the hill close by. If I was a shooting man they would make great targets. The vintage and old planes will be just as bad, but more damaging to the environment. We are trying to reduce car exhaust emissions, so why encourage these selfish sods.
